Delivery on Sunday and public holidays can be arranged by emailing us at
customerservice@ruma-home.com after completing your online transaction. There will be a
surcharge for delivery on Sunday and public holiday. Our delivery will normally take
around 10-14 working days depends on stock availability. Our delivery team will contact
you 1-3 working days prior to actual delivery date to schedule a delivery appointment.
On-site assembly of items delivered by trucks is complimentary. Worry no more about
assembling your furniture from scratch and let our dedicated and professional furniture
delivery team help you at no additional cost. Please note that, at present, our team is
unable to undertake installation works that require permanent fixing on your home's
physical structure such as wall drilling and installation of pendant lighting.

- Minimum purchase amount is required to proceed with the order for outstation delivery.
The outstation promotional delivery fee is fixed at the above rate for a single
delivery. Outstation promotional delivery rate above excludes delivery to islands
without linked bridge. On-site assembly is complimentary.
- For the promotional delivery rate above, delivery date is subjected to ruma truck's
schedule. We will deliver within the stated time frame above. The delivery date will be
determined by ruma delivery team and we will inform customer at least 2-5 working days
prior to actual delivery date.
- Delivery time frame may extend if customer does not accept the first delivery truck
schedule. Customer shall wait for the next truck schedule which may exceed the time
frame provided above.
- Any last minute delivery date/address change that is made 2 working days before the
delivery date will be subjected to a fee. The fee will be as per the delivery fee of
the product shipping class RM30/50/70/100 & capped at RM250 (zone A & B) or a fixed
amount of RM250 (zone C & D) regardless of the order purchase amount. For customer
who would like to pick the delivery date/special request, the delivery fee will be
charged with a different rate as below. Below rates are for single drop only, additional
charges apply for additional drops. Kindly email to customerservice@ruma-home.com for
the special delivery request.

- Delivery charges by courier services to East Malaysia will be calculated per order for

items. Additional fees may apply for deliveries to East
Malaysia when the apartment lacks an elevator and is situated on the third floor or higher.
The logistics company may impose a manpower fee.
- For customers living in high-rise buildings such as condominiums, apartments or any
multi-storey buildings that require lift access. If there is no lift access or the elevator
cannot fit the furniture or the elevator is not functioning, our delivery team (drivers) will
need to manually carry the items using the staircase to deliver the items to the customer's
address. In such cases, a staircase handling fee will apply.
- The staircase handling fee starts from the third floor and onwards with a charge of
RM80 per floor.
- The floor counted from the LG or GF, whichever is lower.
- Our team can only deliver up to 5 floors maximum via staircase.
- Self-assembly for furniture items. No worries, all our items are easy assembly. Assembly
instruction and tools are provided in the carton. Contact us if you have any
questions.
- Order will be processed and dispatched from ruma warehouse around 14 working days and
subject to item(s) availability.
- Made to order item(s) and pre-order item(s) will have a longer dispatch time.
- Our delivery team will provide you with a courier tracking number for tracking purposes
after vessel departure.
- Expected to receive around 4-8 weeks from the purchasing date for item(s) in stock. Made
to order/pre-order item(s) will have a longer expected time to receive.
- Note: In the event a parcel is damaged during the delivery process,
kindly report to our customer service within 24 hours upon receiving.

Fee on last minute change of delivery time /delivery address/cancellation
- Our delivery team will call to confirm your delivery date/address, once the date and address is
mutually agreed, we will proceed to book a truck and arrange for delivery.
- You can call to change the delivery date/address but we need an advance notice of at least 3
working days.
- Any cancellation/delivery date/delivery time/delivery address change that is made 2 working days
before the delivery date will be subjected to a fee.
- The fee will be as per the shipping charge made during the purchase of the order.
Storage Timeframe & Charges
- If you would like your item(s) to be delivered later, we do provide FREE STORAGE up to 3 months
from the date of purchase; or from the product ready date of Made-To-Order item(s) / Pre-Order
item(s).
- After the 3 months' free storage period, the storage fee will be charged at 5% of the item(s)
value per month.
- The storage fee accrued to be paid by the customer before the item(s) is shipped out or
self-collect.
- Item(s) that is being stored at ruma for more than 3 months are not exchangeable or
refundable.

- The above rate for disposal charges is for item(s) that can be dismantled only
(customer must confirm that the item(s) can be dismantled).
- In the case that customer(s) is unsure whether the item(s) can be dismantled or not,
please get advice from our delivery/retail team as the disposal charges might be
different or additional charges of RM100 might be incurred.
- Customer(s) MUST inform our delivery team/retail team in advance if there are
item(s) for disposal. Disposal can only be done during the same ruma delivery trip.
- Disposal fee must be made to ruma Home Sdn Bhd at least 3 days before the
delivery/disposal date. Disposal fee is maxed RM550 at one time/address. Relocation
fee will be charged per item depending on the type of furniture (RM30/50/70/100) with
no maximum charges within 50km.

Important Note:
- Heavy furniture such as sofa, dining table, sideboard, cabinet, bed, mattress, etc,
can only self-collect at our Semenyih warehouse.
- Assembly service will not be provided for the self-collect item(s). However, the assembly
instruction & hardware will be provided in the box. Please do not hesitate to contact our
customer service if you have any questions.
- Customers are advised to check the condition of the item(s) upon collection.
Self-Collection at Retail Store
Once we receive your order, our warehouse will transfer your ordered item(s) to the particular
store according to your remark, by our weekly truck schedule, subject to the order cut-off day
and truck space availability, on a first-come-first-served basis.
If the truck of the week is full, your ordered item(s) will be transferred to the following
weekly truck.

particular store and ready for collection.
- We will only keep the ordered item(s) up to 5 days due to space constraints in our retail
storeroom. Kindly contact the store if you need a longer time frame. For uncollected item(s)
within the time frame, the store will transfer the item(s) back to the warehouse.
The customer needs to contact the store or customer service for further arrangements.
- Customers to bring the proof of the Sales Order upon self-collection.

- For safety measures, no lifting/carrying/assembly assistance will be provided so
we highly recommend for you to bring your own manpower upon collecting your order as we

self-collection within 3 working days.
